The 2012 Olympics are being held in London. This is the third time they have been held there (1908 and 1948). At the summer Olympics, over 200 nations compete in over 25 sports.

MY FAMILY, MY FRIENDS AND ME

Yesterday, years 1 and 2  went on a trip to see the play MY FAMILY, MY FRIENDS AND ME. at the Salesianos Theatre in Vigo.

The play was about a girl called Lena, whose best friend was a pencil, Eina.

We enjoyed watching the play, listening to the songs and learning new words in English.

After the play we went to have a break and a snack at a popular park in Vigo called Castro overlooking the city. It was a fantastic morning for all of us!

WHAT A CONCERT!

The other day, children from year 6 went to Vigo to participate in a concert presented by Danny Griffin, a famous musician and entertainer. 

We enfoyed singing in English and showing off our dance moves. It was a very entertaining experience for all.
