ENGLISH MUSIC CONCERT

On Thursday 6 year got the opportunity to go to an English concert in Vigo.

We boarded the coach ready and raring to dance and sing. We really enjoyed the show.

Dani talked to us about his hometown of Chicago and about the differences between the American and British accents.

We got to practise lots of vocabulary in English and perform the dance routines that we had been learning in class with the teachers.

Dani ran around the audience judging which school danced and sang the best.

At the end he signed autographs for us.

IT WAS SUPER!!!

PEACE DAY

With PEACE DAY coming, we started to think about LOVE, FRIENDSHIP, TOLERANCE and EQUALITY around the world.
In ARTS AND CRAFTS we made a mural of paper doves with our hands and wrote our own messages inside.

On the Friday, everyone gathered on the playground to celebrate together.

Each year read a peace message and we let off two white doves.

The "Grand Finale" came when the whole school sang WE ARE THE WORLD by Michael Jackson- a song about giving the others which we had learnt in Arts and Crafts and in the English class.
