CHRISTMAS WORKSHOPS

To celebrate Christmas we organised some festive workshops for children aged between 6 and 9 years. We learnt Christmas vocabulary and practised it through different games.

In Hannah´s workshop, we played a fast-paced game of bingo and the winners got sweets and chocolate lollies.

In Marina´s workshop, we used the digital board to match words and pictures,

We sang the popular English Christmas tune "Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer" and decorated some Christmas snowmen with cotton wool and glitter.

We all had a great time!!!

AUTUMN

To mark the change of season we went to pick up fallen leaves. Back in class we learnt about autumn colours by making leaf rubbings using crayons and displayed them in the corridors.
Take a look at how good they turned out!

WHAT IS EASTER?

Easter is the time for holidays, festivals and a time for giving chocolate Easter eggs. But Easter means much more....

Easter is the oldest and the most important Christian Festival, the celebration of the death and coming to life again of Jesus Christ.

In England, (and the rest of the UK) the Tuesday before Lent is known as Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday). On that day it is traditional to eat pancakes.
